The Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market is set on the pristine North Coast in Blythedale and boasts some of the most breathtaking views, coupled with an indigenous forest surrounding and crystal blue oceans on its doorstep. Markets are taking place monthly, with a different twist every time. One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is the fact that Avalon Aviation are present at BCAM. They offer incredible helicopter flips, giving guests a stunning aerial view of one of the most beautiful coastlines in South Africa.
For those feeling extra-adventurous, one of the most recent additions to the market space is the Blythedale Coastal Campsite. It’s called a campsite, but this venue is essentially for glamping. The tents come with two single beds and a dressing table, with full access to barista-quality beverages at the coffee shop. Full bathroom facilities are accessible, and the showers even have hot water. The campsite is open Friday and Saturday every week, and the costs are R500 per tent per night, equating to R250 per person. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
The themed monthly activation of the Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market uncorked with the launch of the Blythedale Wine Experience, sponsored by KWV. February’s BCAM incorporated this event, and the scale and scope of that Sunday ensured vendors and customers had an epic experience. It was at the Seaview Bar that the wine took centre-stage. A selection of four KWV wine tasters was served up by our stunning waitresses. The wine was a perfect accompaniment to the main musical act, 2 Unique. This talented duo covers a wide range of chilled music, including R&B, soft rock, reggae and jazz.
Up until quite recently, this free-to-enter event has been taking place weekly. However, the Market is now officially a monthly occurrence. We will be open on the first Sunday of every month, from 09H00 – 16H00. This means attendees and vendors alike get the most out of an extraordinary day! The Market recently held on the 3rd of February had over 70 vendors, and 2500 marketgoers. Event organiser Bron Roos had this to say: “We’re really excited to offer marketgoers an even better experience. This gives us time to focus our energy on our themed monthly markets, to make every single one as special as possible.”. For this Sunday, a Facebook competition is being run to introduce our Family Fun Package. Three packages of six tickets each are up for grabs!
The next variation, the Andrew Young Concert and Gin Experience, is penned in for Sunday the 3rd of March. That will see a special performance from saxophonist Andrew Young, performing tributes in the Seaview Bar. Born in Liverpool, United Kingdom, Andrew Young, through his live performances and comprehensive discography of saxophonic covers, has built up an impressive international following. He has performed all over the world, and we’re delighted to be bringing him to Blythedale Coastal Estate. If you’re into mountain biking, Holla Trails are doing an exploratory MTB ride from Holla Trails, Sugar Rush Park at 6:30 am on Sunday the 3rd of March. For bookings, contact Jasper on 074 897 8559 or email@example.com. Whether you’re driving, riding, or flying, we can’t wait to see you, for yet another epic experience.
