Blythedale Development Update – July 2018

Blythedale Coastal Estate recently completed the transfer of property to Celebrity Mile owners, encapsulated by the approval of three houses by the Design Review Committee, and the approval of one property by the local authority. Prospective buyers will be able to purchase plot and plan options, once the relevant infrastructure starts. Buyers will be able to choose one of 15 “pre-packaged” homes. These have been carefully designed, with final plans being subject to topographical constraints.

Some infrastructure recently initiated includes the first 20km of a total of 100km-long nature trails. This goes hand-in-hand with the current shaping of the dams in Phase 1 of the development. In conjunction with the construction of the fence line, construction on the first gatehouse is expected to commence in about three months. This will allow for the launch of Hlati Views, part of the beach resort node. Plans are underway to extend infrastructure to Phase 2, which would then unlock the resort hotel for development.
