BCR Update- November 2015
There has been an immense amount of activity that has taken place in the past month… Where to begin is the question? Let’s start with an interesting incident. An eager individual noticed the branding on Blythedale Sales Manager, Greg Taylor’s car, then followed Greg to the nearest robot, frantically flagging him down to be told that the person would like to purchase property immediately!
A genuine interest…
The team has noticed a genuine interest in Blythedale Coastal Resort as the numbers have just sky rocketed, with a high increase of traffic to Blythedale’s website, Facebook page and through Google search. If you Google the word ‘Blythedale’, without even having to type ‘Blythedale Coastal Resort’ in, you will find the resort ranked at the top of the page.
The exceptional interest in the property also resulted in an influx of traffic on the Blythedale website over the last month with over 23,000 unique sessions which caused the website to go down temporarily due to it reaching its maximum bandwidth limit. The Blythedale team was full of excitement as they witnessed both existing and new markets ‘Register their interest’ in Blythedale and RSVP for the worldwide launch at an extremely hasty pace.
What did our Facebook page look like you ask? People displayed their interest through comments, inbox messages, likes and positive reviews. It was an exciting time in the eLan offices as we made every effort to provide people with the information they required as rapidly as possible. A high increase in traffic to the Facebook page, includes Blythedale’s highest post reach of 234,365. Blythedale also saw a high number of views of the promotional video with 28,404 views in total during the campaign.
There was an extremely large number of RSVP’s to the Worldwide Launch on the 28th of October in Durban, Johannesburg, London and Dubai. The Worldwide Launch was prosperous, with over 1000 attendees and 270 signed sale agreements to the value of just under R500 million on the night. There have been a flood of enquiries on a day to day basis since the launch. A big thank you to all who attended or watched the live stream of the launch.
Breaking Ground!
Blythedale has begun the process of breaking ground, starting with the first 900 metres of the Beach Resort area. 22 of the 23 freehold sites have interested buyers with one site available at the 3.2 Million mark. There is tremendous value due to the 360 degree view of indigenous forest and 180 degree view of the Indian Ocean. Anthony Arbuthnot, Project Manager of Hodari Properties PTY LTD and his professional team are working full steam ahead with plant equipment, installation of roads, water, sanitation and electricity connections.
The expected date for the transfer of sites by infrastructure specialists, being Raubex KZN is January, 20th2016. When visiting Blythedale you will notice the appointed security, Blythedale billboards and boom gate development control. There are 10 conservationists who are working on removing alien vegetation and monitoring conservation of small game within the resort.
