Development Update – November 2016
It is so exciting seeing this dream now come true. Our first sites have been transferred to their new owners. We have broken ground on the next phase and what is important is sales have gathered amazing momentum.
Of the freehold sites we have launched, we only have 28 percent of this stock left in the first two phases. Pricing is excellent and people need to know that the land asset is fully owned. There is no debt on the development and because of this and the strength of our presales there has been good infrastructural movement onsite at Blythedale Coastal Resort.
In preparation for the growth in sales, we have embarked on a strategic move to establish appropriate sales offices and points of contact at Gateway Theatre of Shopping, Umhlanga, Simbithi Country Club, Palm Lakes, Prince’s Grant, Jackalberry Estate and Zinkwazi. All these areas will have points of contact through whom you can meet and coordinate a site visit and secure your freehold site and more. Heading up our Sales Drive for the Residential component of the estate will be Clive Green our Group Sales Manager based at Simbithi Country Club.
We have secured other booking channels for Blythedale Coastal Resort with focus on Resort Villas. Booking channels will be announced shortly via Devmark Global.
We have an amazing Project and Operational Team gearing up for major activity onsite during 2017 where we will announce The Best of Brands being identified to catalyse the Resort Development and enhance and grow your personal investment.

Our onsite Sales Team for December who will be available during December to host you on a site visit includes Clive Green, Bonny Muringai, Elsie Somers, Frances Barnard, Julie Naidoo, Gordon Barnard, Brenda Johnson, Charlton Botha and Sarah Liversage.
So what is really happening on Blythedale:
- The first owners on the first 1 kilometre of road have been transferred to their new owners.
- The next phase which includes 122 freehold sites is being prepared to transfer to their new owners within the next 6 months.
- Our main gatehouse to the resort hotel complex is in final design and building will start prior to April 2017.
- Our 3 viewing towers are erected thanks to Formscaff.
- A 10,000 seater amphitheatre is almost complete and we plan to host 20 events through this and additional facilities during 2017.
- We have started building the first kms of a 16km fence line as contracted with Conrite Fencing. There is good movement onsite.
- Cameron from Camelot Events has completed 7kms of running trails and a longer route of 12kms.
- By 15th December we will have 20kms of onsite trails and bookings can be done onsite or via Pedal Africa.
- Our sales office, branding and onsite sales vehicles will be complete and operational for the December rush.
- You will be able to register your interest for the purchase of Retirement, Resort or Residential opportunities this December.
