BCR Update – October 2016
Blythedale is stooped in a rich history and legacy that has shaped the lifestyles of the current population that reside here. With our latest video Chapter One “The Claim”. We describe facets of this history of a young lady telling her story and how Blythedale is set to develop into a stunning seaside residential development and resort destination of world class standard. We look forward to the release of chapter 2 and 3.
Due to demand, just last week, we transferred the first mini phase with a further 122 sites which were released for sale and are expected to be transferred in early 2017. Future home owners will have the opportunity to manage their house project building from their arm chair, literally.
Currently, Blythedale has a professional team of 10 security guards, 8 conservation team members employed by local community and our project team made up of Project Managers, Architects, Builders, Quantity Surveyors and Engineers.
Progress report over the last few months
- The first 900m’s of road has been completed
- First Freehold sites were released in September 2016
- Work has been done on access signage
- Sales office establishment
- Adventure Centre plans
- 122 Freehold sites have been signed in the next mini phase
- Impressive new gatehouse
- Plans for 10 000 seater Events Centre and Amphitheatre
- 50 km trail for the mountain biker and trail running enthusiast
- Desalination plant marked as the bulk solution to water supply for the entire development
- Security fence line initiated
- Plans for 2 major lake features
- Cutting of tree stumps and gumtrees for all of the indigenous grasslands and indigenous coastal forest to replace alien tree vegetation of Gums, Casuarinas and Pine trees.
- 4 new viewing towers created onsite
Sales progress report
Seen in the recent Luxe Magazine, our team of internal Sales Executives operating from Simbithi Eco Estate, Umhlanga (along with the Marketing team) and onsite at BCR are gearing towards December and the Festive season.
Progress has been made on conceptualisation of community housing and sales of development as we gear towards 100% sellout of phase 1 and 2 of the 7 phases. Our expectation is that these 2 phases will reach maximum sales during the December season and we look forward to welcoming both national and international investors in to this world class tourism destination.
